I devote a lot of my time to working with people to explore how we can respond to the climate crisis

Climate action

I use my Understand, Imagine, Act theory of change to work with people to help them to understand the climate crisis, to imagine how we can build a better future - and to get on and change things for the better.

I am a trained Climate Fresk facilitator, and I run workshops to help people to understand the circular economy.

I have many years of experience offering startup support and ongoing business support to environmental social enterprises - and I write regularly on how we can respond imaginatively to the climate crisis in my newsletter.

How To Create An Environmental Action Plan

I am working alongside Voluntary Action Leeds to run a series of How To Create An Environmental Action Plan workshops, as part of the Sport For Good West Yorkshire project.

The workshops are free of charge and open to anyone involved in running or managing a sports club or community organisation in West Yorkshire that is:

  • Involved in delivering any type of community sport / physical activity (can be affiliated or not affiliated to a National Governing Body)

  • Supporting your local community as an un/constituted group, charity, social enterprise or community benefit society

  • Generating an income of up to £500k
The free workshops are taking place on the following dates - you can find out more and book via the link.

1st May in Leeds

15th May in Wakefield

21st May in Bradford

22nd May in Calderdale

29th May in Kirklees

I’ve written a post about the workshops - talking about my own experiences of noticing how the climate is changing - on the Voluntary Action Leeds website.

I write regularly about the climate crisis in my newsletter
